Cable Application
These FlexTube® dielectric optical cables are designed for installation in duct by pulling, jetting or floating technics. Mainly used for distribution and access network. The Flextube® design provides easier storage and faster installation. The fibre finger access will not require specific tools to open the Flextube® and will allow express fibres (mid-span access at fibre level). Cable Design According to IEC/EN 60794-3
• Micro-module: Thin wall tubing (FlexTube®), filled with a suitable compound, housing the single-mode optical fibres.
• Water tightness: dry core with swellable elements.
• Strength members: four embedded glass fibre reinforced plastic material grouped by two and disposed at 180°.
• Outer Sheath: UV resistant HDPE.
